Are CAHHR’s health and support services completely confidential?
Yes, absolutely. We enforce strict confidentiality standards across all our programs. Whether you are accessing HIV testing, mental health counseling, or reporting a human rights violation, your personal information, medical details, and identity are protected and treated with utmost privacy.
No. Most of CAHHR’s community-based services including HIV testing and linkage, mental health screening, psychosocial support, and human rights advocacy are provided free of charge. Our goal is to eliminate financial and social barriers so everyone can access quality, dignified care.
We offer integrated, trauma-informed support. Our team provides direct psychosocial counseling, emergency crisis response, and referrals to trusted medical and legal protection partners. We also advocate directly to address healthcare discrimination and ensure your rights are upheld.
Our doors and services are open to everyone, with a primary focus on vulnerable, marginalized, and underserved populations. This includes people living with HIV, youth, women, key populations, and community members facing severe environmental or healthcare access challenges.
