About Community Alliance for Health and Human Rights

Advancing health, protecting rights, and restoring dignity

Community Alliance for Health and Human Rights (CAHHR) is a community-led organization dedicated to improving health outcomes and strengthening human rights protections for all people. We focus on supporting individuals facing stigma, discrimination, poverty, gender-based violence (GBV), and systemic barriers to healthcare.

Through direct community engagement, rights-based programming, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, CAHHR delivers sustainable, integrated support across five core pillars:

To advance health and human rights by empowering communities with evidence-based services, advocacy, and inclusive support, promoting dignity, safety, and equitable care for all.

A community where everyone achieves optimal health and wellbeing, free from discrimination and abuse, through accessible, integrated, and compassionate healthcare.

Our Impact & Integrated Approach

CAHHR delivers targeted support to vulnerable populations by linking healthcare directly with human rights protection. Through our cross-cutting approach, we combine HIV care, mental health support, and environmental health initiatives to reduce stigma, improve wellbeing, and achieve long-term community impact.
